CHICAGO (WNDU) - Major League Baseball’s Midsummer Classic is coming back to one of the sport’s crown jewels.
The MLB announced on Friday that Wrigley Field will host the 2027 All-Star Game.
It will mark the first time the Chicago Cubs have hosted the All-Star Game since 1990, and it will mark the first time the game itself will be played in Chicago since the White Sox hosted it in 2003.
This will also be the fourth time Wrigley Field has hosted the Midsummer Classic, which is the most of any current ballpark.
The game is scheduled to be played on July 13, 2027.
