The day after the Yankees revamped their pitching staff during a frenetic Trade Deadline, the club released right-hander Marcus Stroman on Friday.

Stroman started on Thursday against the Rays, picking up the win while yielding four runs on six hits over five innings. He's 3-2 on the season, with a 6.23 ERA over nine appearances, all starts. He's struck out 26 and put up a 1.54 WHIP. This was his second season in the Bronx, after going 10-9, with a 4.31 ERA in 30 games -- 29 starts -- in 2024.
