HOUSTON (KIAH) — If you want to see Carlos Correa’s first game in his return as a Houston Astro, you will have to watch it online.
Astros fans are abuzz after the team acquired Correa from the Minnesota Twins hours ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline. The Twins got minor-league pitcher Matt Mikulski in return for Correa. They will also pay $33 million of the $103,419,355 remaining on his contract.
The Astros celebrated bringing back the three-time All-Star who played in Houston from 2015 to 2021 with highlight reels of his greatest moments and a social post of getting his jersey ready for his first home game, which will be on Monday, Aug. 11.
