RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Virginia State Police recovered over $2 million worth of narcotics and 48 firearms during its ongoing statewide investigation last week.
The operation, in partnership with supporting federal and local agencies, saw state police seize over 130 pounds of narcotics and 6,370 controlled substance pills, with seized narcotics valued at $2,092,921, during the week of July 23 to July 29.
Authorities seized 48 firearms, which were valued at $25,000, according to state police.
The following is a breakdown of recovered narcotics and pills: • 3.1 pounds of cocaine • 15.3 ounces of crack cocaine • 1.1 ounces of heroin • 40.3 pounds of methamphetamine • 71.1 pounds of marijuana • 14.8 pounds of fentanyl • 4,500 fentanyl pills • 1,750 ecstasy pills • 400 THC
