ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The first weekend of August will be practically perfect, with seasonably warm air, sunshine and low humidity. The one thing we’ll be tracking is the potential for some wildfire smoke to work back into the area, especially later Saturday and into Sunday. We’ll need to monitor any smoke that may work down to the surface. Aside from that, our weather looks great for any outdoor activities.

High pressure will remain anchored overhead, and slowly side east into much of next week. That will keep our weather fair, with lots of sun, some clouds, warm air and low humidity. Dew points may begin to creep up a little bit by the end of next week, but nothing too uncomfortable at this point.
