OKLAHOMA, USA — Construction of a highly-anticipated Hard Rock Hotel along Lake Texoma near the Texas-Oklahoma border has stalled.

Work on the Pointe Vista development, which developers touted as a $2 billion, 2,700-acre master-planned resort community stretching along 19 miles of Lake Texoma shoreline designed to include a casino, golf course, enclosed waterpark, family entertainment center, began in 2024.

Construction on infrastructure for the Hard Rock Hotel as part of the project began in November 2024, the Dallas Business Journal reported . The hotel was planned to have 189 rooms and to include a conference center.
