WEBSTER, N.Y. — Empire State Development announced support for McAlpin Industries’ expansion on Hard Road in Webster.

The sheet metal processor plans to build a 300,000 square-foot building in Webster, creating more than 50 jobs. The project is part of New York State’s efforts to boost manufacturing in the Finger Lakes area. Empire State Development is providing up to $1 million through the Excelsior Jobs Tax Credit Program in exchange for new jobs.

McAplin hopes to open the facility late next year.
