State Police in Highland say they put an end to a wild night of crime that involved the robbery of a liquor store, an attack on a trooper, and the endangering of children.

Police say they were responding to the burglary call at approximately 8:40pm and were en route to a Route 9W liquor store in Highland when they spotted a Nissan Murano matching the description of the getaway vehicle. Troopers pulled over the SUV as it was driving west on 44/55.

Inside, police say they found four adults and two juveniles, including Selena Fonda Bressendorff, 24, of Wallkill, who allegedly assaulted one of the troopers after becoming aggressive.
