JEDCO board Vice-President Bill Snelson and Board Member Chris Lanier contacted Mayor Clark McLane Friday and agreed to cancel the next meeting.

JEDCO Assistant Sam Mathews sent this text to Snelson: “Just got off the phone with the Mayor and have been making some phone calls today. According to TML and others, the meeting Monday, as far as voting, is NOT legal. Demarcus Holmes couldn't get Zoom to work on the big screen for him to appear so Mrs. (Terrya) Norsworthy Facetimed him and handed the phone to the Mayor and they carried out business. But in order for Mr. Holmes to be considered active for the meeting and to be able to vote he has to be able to be seen and heard from not only all City Council members, but everyone in attendance as well.
