Annual event brings together people to treat everybody right

The city of Surprise is on the lookout for sponsors for the Surprise Area Interfaith and Golden Rule Community Breakfast in September.

This community gathering on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at the Dysart Schools District Office serves as a celebration of the Golden Rule, a principle of treating others as one would want to be treated.

“The gathering helps to promote the value of the Golden Rule in our daily lives, our organizations and throughout the Surprise community and region,” city officials wrote in a news release. “The celebration features uplifting stories from local leaders, highlights the power of collaboration and serves to strengthen our community through mutual respect.”
