ASHBURN, Va. — The Washington Commanders and Dallas Cowboys rivalry got a little spicier on Thursday and Friday as both teams had star players request trades.

Verified on Thursday night by WUSA9 , receiver Terry McLaurin has requested a trade from the Commanders, and on Friday, star pass rusher Micah Parsons publicly requested the same from the Dallas Cowboys in a social media posting.

While there are expectations that neither team is too interested in moving their stars, the fact remains that even if it's a slim chance, there still exists the reality that things could look very different the next time Washington faces the Cowboys.
