FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- On Friday, 24-year-old Cameron Starks was charged with murder in connection to a shooting that took place back in 2020.

On the night of November 27th, 2020, 21-year-old Shamon Little was shot and killed in an all-ages nightclub called The Muse on Main in Fort Wayne. Police responded to reports of a shooting and found Little on the dance floor with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to court documents, there was evidence to support that the shooting occurred in the hallway leading to the bathroom from the DJ stand. A live round and a bullet projectile were recovered in that area.

The next day, a coroner confirmed that Little died from a gunshot wound to the head and had been shot from more than 2 feet away.
