TIPTONVILLE, Tenn. (WMC) - Three days after four people were found murdered on Carrington Road in Tiptonville, the community is still hurting and trying to wrap their heads around the situation.
The bodies were located in an area on Carrington Road where residents would go hang out, relax, and be a part of nature, among other activities.
The murders are connected to the abandonment of a seven-month-old girl in a Dyer County yard earlier that same day.
Neal Daughtery, a Tiptonville resident, said it’s not just the tragic killings that have residents overcome with emotion. He started crying during an interview with Action News 5’s Michaela Redmond when he spoke about the infant who was abandoned.
