We've got some great news for you across our region, as surface high pressure is settling in, set to bring us a beautifully comfortable weekend.

So far, it looks like Saturday is shaping up to be the pick of the weekend, with plenty of sunshine and comfortably warm temperatures topping out in the 80s, and thankfully, lower dewpoints are filtering in compared to earlier this week.

As we move into the early part of next week, starting Sunday afternoon, we'll begin to see a few changes. We are tracking an increase in moisture and a bit of energy that will bring a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially starting in western Kentucky and spreading throughout the region by Monday and Tuesday.
