NEXT 12: Scattered storms fade this evening, drier and cooler by Friday morning

SHORT TERM: Coolest weather in 52 days arrives Saturday morning, widespread lows in the 50s & 60s

LONG TERM: Cooler and drier weather comes to a close next week as humidity and storm chances return

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - This afternoon’s scattered showers and thunderstorms will fade away this evening as a cold front exits the area. We will slowly grow less humid overnight behind this front, allowing temperatures to fall into the 60s by Friday morning.

After some clouds Friday morning, we’ll see sunnier skies in the afternoon with much lower humidity and cooler, breezy highs in the lower 80s!
