While the air quality throughout southern Wisconsin has been improving over these last 24 hours, forecasts are still indicating that wildfire smoke will linger over the region through much of the upcoming weekend. While it is unknown if the NWS will extend the alert into Sunday, those of you sensitive to smoke particulate or lower air quality should do your best to reduce time outdoors in the coming days.
