A historic downtown Fort Worth tower has hit the market.

The 11-story, 101,390-square-foot building at 110 W. Seventh St. is the largest historic registered building in downtown Fort Worth, according to JLL , the firm listing the property. The office tower was built in 1910.

Known as the Bob R. Simpson Building, the property was once owned by XTO Energy, a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corp . XTO moved its headquarters from Fort Worth to Houston in 2018 and sold the building in 2022 to Icon Lodging. The company had planned to convert the office building into a hotel but that never happened — now it's back on the market.

The building is walking distance from the downtown convention center
