Wizards, witches, and Muggles alike gathered for a magical evening at the Porterville Public Library, where the branch hosted its annual Harry Potter Movie Night, a community-favorite event that brings fantasy to life for families across the city.

The library transformed its community room into a Hogwarts-themed theater this week, complete with free popcorn, themed crafts, trivia games, and of course, a screening of a fan- voted Harry Potter film. The featured movie was chosen by local patrons through a social media poll, encouraging participation and excitement long before showtime.

The movie was only part of the magic. Guests were welcomed with a variety of hands-on activities including Do It Yourself bookmarks for each Hogwarts house, coloring pages, and trivia challenges for all ages
