Blessings of Liberty held a public forum Thursday evening, giving concerned citizens an opportunity to engage directly with Vice Mayor Ed McKervey and Mayor Greg Meister about the future of Porterville.
The event, held at the Porterville Church of Christ, drew residents from across the community eager to share their concerns, ideas, and perspectives. According to their website, Blessings of Liberty is a Porterville-based community organization committed to “educating, promoting, restoring, and securing the blessings of liberty.” The organization stated it was founded by ordinary citizens with what they call “extraordinary resolve.” The group states it advocates for restoring America from the ground up, beginning with strong local governance.
