DANVILLE — Spirited competition and camaraderie awaits 216 golfers from seven states when the 11th Annual American Legion State Golf Tournament tees off this morning in Danville.

The tournament, which is hosted by the City of Danville and American Legion Post 210, was brought to Danville in 2015 by Greg Alpers.
