Adams County Sheriff Dan Mawhorr has been named Indiana Sheriff of the Year for 2025 by the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association. Other 2025 award winners: Kosciusko County, dispatcher Robert Carpenter ; Wabash County, Chief Deputy J. Tyler Guenin , Sgt. Eric Ryggs . The association also announced its executive officers for 2026.
