Conor Coady has wished Leicester City well after signing off at the club on a “tough season”.
The centre-back completed a £2m switch to Wrexham on Friday, becoming City’s first sale of the summer.
He leaves after 43 appearances across two years at the King Power Stadium, finishing last term’s dismal relegation out of the Premier League.
While Coady’s future had been in doubt as he entered the final year of his City deal, and with interest from Rangers before Wrexham’s offer, he appeared to be well-liked by manager Marti Cifuentes, who named him captain for the club’s pre-season friendly against Koln last week.
