CHICAGO, IL. (WFIE) - When you’re hot, you’re hot, and Southridge grad, Colson Montgomery, is the definition of hot. The Holland, Indiana native is having a whale of a stretch, in the big leagues.

The Chicago White Sox rookie has now homered in six, of his last nine games, dating back to July 22. He actually just hit one out, against the Angels, on Friday night, to open up their weekend series.

After making his debut, on July 4, it took Montgomery 15 games to hit his first home run. That’s when he started his recent tear though, going yard twice against the Rays, once against the Cubs, and two more times, against the Phillies.

Montgomery’s average sits at .257, with those six homers, two doubles, and 19 RBI.
