LARAMIE — Damashja Harris remembers standing on the sidelines watching his Mean Green teammates run up the score against their Week 4 opponent last fall.

The former North Texas running back was injured the week before in a road loss to Texas Tech. While he didn't play in the game, he does recall the lopsided 44-17 final score in the Mean Green's second home game of the season.

The opponent?

The University of Wyoming.

"It was fast game," Harris told WyoSports with a laugh Wednesday. "It was a quick one."

Harris didn't log another snap the rest of the season due to the undisclosed injury. He finished the year with 193 yards and a touchdown on just 22 carries, averaging 8.8 yards per rush.
