The family of a Hebron man who was electrocuted, causing him to drown in the harbor at Marina Shores, and his brother, who was also electrocuted but survived, have filed a civil lawsuit against the property alleging that its management violated maintenance codes and industry standards that directly led to one death and another serious injury. The lawsuit, filed Thursday by Schafer & Shafer LLP, accuses Marina Shores at Dune Harbor LLC, Marina Shores Investment LLC and Marina Shores Master Association Inc. of negligence and seeks punitive and compensatory damages.
