SINGAPORE (WFIE) - Lilly King has qualified for the finals in the Women’s 50 meter Breaststroke at the World Aquatic Championships in Singapore.

King qualified in fourth place with a time of 30.22 seconds, which was .68 seconds behind the leader, Ruta Meilutyte.

This is King’s final competition after announcing her retirement in June.

On Sunday, King swam in the 100 meter breaststroke semifinals, but failed to qualify.

King will be swimming out of lane 6 during this Sunday’s event, which is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. Singapore time, which is 5:10 a.m. Central Time.

Meilutyte holds the world record for the event.
