ASHBURN, Va. — Kids Day at Washington Commanders training camp gets young Washington fans as close as possible to their favorite players.
The Commanders featured a "Kids Zone" dedicated to children's activities, including football activities, face painting, and balloon artists.
Parents took a back seat as their kids got to be steps away from their favorite stars.
“Just to see the players in real life," said one dad who brought his son out Saturday. "It’s pretty cool, you get to interact with them and watch them practice a little bit, but yeah they love it. Getting autographs and just being out here and being a part of it and being connected.”
Young or old, the fan base’s expectations have never been higher.
