ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The final day of the Puerto Rican Festival is on Saturday, and it features a parade and live musical performances.
The parade started at 11 a.m. at the corner of East Avenue and Alexander Street, finishing at the festival grounds located at Parcel Five.
Attendees can look forward to performances by Luis Vazquez and Alexis y Fido on Saturday night.
The festival’s domino table has been a popular attraction, drawing in participants like Jesus and Maria Martinez.
“I’m from Puerto Rico, but I’ve never been to a Puerto Rican Festival until today,” Jesus Martinez said.
“We love to play, we play dominos every night,” Jesus Martinez said. “And I win! Hahahahaha!” Lori Martinez added.
The couple, who stopped by Rochester, plans to get married in Niagara Falls.
