BOSTON — The Astros are back at it in Boston, taking on the Red Sox in the second game of their series.

As KHOU 11’s Jason Bristol put it, the Astros are going with their backup shortstop as they try to even the series. That backup shortstop is new-again Astro Carlos Correa. Correa, who is now the starting third baseman, is playing shortstop because Jeremy Peña is out of the lineup one day after returning from the injured list.

During the 10th inning of Friday night’s 2-1 Astros loss, Peña came out of the game with what was described as a hamstring cramp. After the game, Peña said he expected to play in Saturday’s game, but when the lineup came out, he wasn’t in it.
