A Philadelphia rec center where a shooting took place on Wednesday, July 30, reopened on Saturday, Aug. 2, with a quiet and relieved crowd.

On Friday, teenager was arrested and charged in connection to a shooting at a Philadelphia rec center that left two children, two teens and a man injured.

NBC10 saw a few families on hand for the reopening, with a neighbor saying the pool and rec center has been quiet all day Saturday.

Overall, families told NBC10 they felt safer now that a suspect is in custody.
