OGDEN, Utah (ABC4 Sports) - Nine-time NBA All-Star Damian Lillard has added another title to his legendary basketball name -- general manager.

Lillard was named the GM of the Weber State basketball team on Saturday, becoming a key advisor and mentor to the team as it looks to compete at the highest level.

“Success doesn’t come overnight, especially in today’s ever-changing basketball landscape,” Lillard said. “College athletics is constantly evolving, and building a strong program requires time, trust, and commitment. I believe in what this program represents and the culture that continues to grow at Weber State.
