LOS ANGELES – Authorities are investigating a shooting at a South Los Angeles house party early Sunday morning.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in the 3000 block of South Budlong Avenue around 2:00 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found a party at the home with more than 100 attendees.

Due to the large crowd, the LAPD issued a help call for all available officers in the area to assist.

During the search, officers observed unknown individuals attempting to wash away blood evidence from the shooting, according to videographers at the scene.

At least two individuals were detained at the scene.

A possible victim was reported to have been transported to California Hospital.
