ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Although today will technically feature sunny skies, it will look very grey due to hazy wildfire smoke pushing in from Canada. Daytime heating will cause the air to mix and more smoke to be brought down to the surface, bringing the air quality index up to a 110. That means young children, older adults, and those with heart or lung disease may experience symptoms when doing outdoor strenuous activities. Wildfire smoke will continue to be an issue tomorrow and perhaps into Tuesday, but it should be at its worst today.
Temperatures tonight will range from the upper 50s inland to the mid 60s along the lakeshore with clear skies, then the warm, sunny and dry pattern continues all the way through midweek. High pressure northeast of us scoots off the New England coast on Wednes
