HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Police are investigating a shooting that hospitalized one person in Harrisburg early this morning.

According to the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, on Sunday, August 3, at around 4 a.m., Harrisburg Police responded to the area of South 17th and Vernon Streets for a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, police say they encountered an adult male shooting victim. The male was immediately hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
