HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -- The Harrisburg Cougars were two wins away from a PIAA state championship in 2024, a goal they're determined to reach this season.

With four seniors already signed to play Division I football in 2026, the talent is there. Now, the senior group is chasing redemption, striving to finish their careers as state champions.

Friday Night Football returns for its 29th season on abc27 for the 2025 football season! Started in 1997 by longtime abc27 Sports Director Gregg Mace, FNF was the first of its kind in Central PA.

It remains the longest show in the Midstate highlighting high school football for thirteen weeks of the season.
