BRISTOL, Tenn. — After just getting one inning of baseball at the visually impressive Bristol Motor Speedway MLB setup on Saturday night due to rain, the Braves and Reds will be back at it on Sunday.
The record-breaking crowd on hand for the first staging of a regular season Major League Baseball game in Tennessee was left disappointed as the game was delayed more than 2 hours at the start, then again postponed shortly after its start.
A number of fans reported logistical issues as the delay stretched resources at Bristol Motor Speedway. It's unclear now how many of the more than 80,000 fans who were there Saturday will have flexed their plans to come back on Sunday.
