PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland Police tactical teams were involved in an eight-hour stand-off yesterday when a man, wanted for several crimes, climbed onto the roof of an apartment complex in the Hazelwood Neighborhood following a report of domestic violence.
Officers from the East Precinct responded to a report of domestic violence at an apartment in the 10400 block of East Burnside Street at 7.26 a.m.
The suspect refused to surrender to the police and climbed out of a window and onto the apartment building roof.
