JACKSONVILLE – This was a day for tradition and culture.

That was fine with Anthony Campanile , the Jaguars' first-year defensive coordinator who spoke to the media Sunday following Day 9 Jaguars 2025 Training Camp at the Miller Electric Center.

Tom Coughlin attended Sunday. And he was a welcome guest.

"What he says matters, and it works; it's right," Campanile said.

Coughlin, the Jaguars' head coach from 1993-2002 and a member of the Pride of the Jaguars, attended practice Sunday and joined Executive Vice President of Football Operations Tony Boselli – who played for Coughlin from 1995-2001 – on the field midway through the two-and-half-hour session.

Campanile and other coaches also spoke with Coughlin after practice.
