Gilbert Town Council will meet for the first time in more than month Tuesday, and one of the first orders of business will be changing the order of business.

Council will consider returning the “communications from citizens” portion of the meeting back to where it traditionally was – near the beginning of the meeting after any proclamations or presentations.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Gilbert Town Hall, 50 E. Civic Center Way, Gilbert.

Council moved communications from citizens to the end of the meeting last year, prompted by instances where the public comment period became a platform for organized attacks on council members and disruptions during meetings.
