As someone who hasn’t lived in London for a long time, I never found the right time to visit the popular neighbouring beach town of Brighton. But then, the highly anticipated Brighton Pride event came as an opportunity for me to finally make the trip.

I had heard so much about the event, and naturally, built high expectations. This year’s Brighton Pride had an impressive lineup for its Pride On The Park event, with no other than R&B legend Mariah Carey as a headliner on Saturday (August 2).

Determined to immerse myself in the entire Brighton Pride experience I had heard so much about, I assembled a group of friends to come along with me for the Saturday celebrations.
