JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — Two men were struck by an alleged drunk driver in Jeffersonville on Friday.
According to a press release, members of the Jeffersonville Police Department responded to the intersection of Pearl and West Maple Streets around 12:46 a.m. to investigate a crash. When police arrived at the scene, they located a crash involving a vehicle and two pedestrians.
The pedestrians — both of whom were identified as adult males — were unconscious when police made it to the crash scene. The men were transported from the area to a local hospital to receive treatment after the crash.
JPD reported that one of the victims regained consciousness after the crash, though he did sustain what police described as "significant injuries."
