ORLANDO, Fla. – Tropical Storm Dexter formed late Sunday night in the western Atlantic, the National Hurricane Center said, as forecasters monitored two other disturbances.

The NHC continues to keep an eye on a tropical wave expected to move off the coast of Africa on Monday.
Gradual development is possible and a tropical depression could form later this week as the system moves west-northwest across the central tropical Atlantic.
