MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The victims in a deadly shooting in Sandersville have been named days after a suspect was arrested in the case.

Suspect Damian Kennon “Knowledge” Reaves, 36, was arrested just after 2 p.m. Friday in Baldwin County, according to Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran.

His arrest stems from the shooting death of 22-year-old Jonathan Carnez Burden and 19-year-old Elijah Alphonso Graham, according to Cochran.

Reaves was apprehended on Habersham Street in Milledgeville. His arrest was the result of a coordinated, multi-agency effort and tips from the public, according to Cochran.

“We are deeply grateful for the collaboration and swift response of all involved agencies and for the support of the public,” Cochran said.
