Season’s greetings: Things to look forward to as another athletics year gets underway

Of the nine months or so that encompass a typical school year, there's just something that hits different about the start of August.

In the coming days, the first week of practices for football and volleyball will get underway – soon leading into scrimmages and then the start of the regular season.
