Police were called to the scene around 4.40pm with specialist crowd control and uniformed officers in attendance.
Police say the protest then turned violent with those in attendance aiming eggs and stones at officers, but no-one required hospital treatment.
Three men aged 22, 38 and 47 were arrested and charged in connection with disorder, with the 38-year-old also charged in connection with assault.
A 36-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl were all charged in connection with vandalising property.
