CALVERT COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A man was taken into custody after he was allegedly caught masturbating outside the Prince Frederick Library, according to the Calvert County Sheriff's Office.

On July 22, a corporal with the Calvert County Sheriff's Office responded to the library to investigate an indecent exposure.

While investigating the report, multiple witnesses told authorities that a man was sitting on a bench outside the library with his pants down and actively masturbating.

The sheriff's office identified him as 58-year-old Robert Allen Rice.

He was charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct, and taken to the Calvert County Detention Center.
