One of London's best bakeries has quietly reopened three months after mysteriously leaving Walthamstow. Pastry lovers were devastated when SUBA was shut - and quickly replaced - on Hoe Street back in May, with owner Pa Modou offering no explanation for his sudden exit.

However, the acclaimed baker has clearly been working away behind the scenes, relaunching the West African-influenced brand with a new location in Hackney earlier this week. He has set up shop on Station Parade, just minutes from Clapton station and the burgeoning food scene on Upper Clapton Road.

Fans can expect much of the same flaky, buttery goodness as before, with an ever-changing menu of baguettes, loaves and buns (and coffee, of course!) available every Thursday - Monday. Pa has also teamed up with East London's M
