Canada was among six countries that were involved in an airdrop of humanitarian aid to Gaza, joining five other countries on Monday.

Israel Defence Forces said Monday on X the airdrop included 120 food aid packages for the residents of Gaza. It said it was co-ordinated with the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Germany and Belgium.

A statement from Global Affairs Canada confirmed the Armed Forces airdrop of humanitarian assistance.
