ALABAMA, N.Y. — The Genesee County Sheriff's Office is still investigating an incident that happened Monday on the Tonawanda Territory.

Genesee County Sheriff Joseph M. Graff confirmed that deputies were called to the scene shortly before 7:30 a.m. for a report of a subject with a knife wound. That person was taken by Mercy Flight to a hospital for treatment.

“During the course of the investigation, we also identified a second person who was a subject of knife wounds also, and they were also transported for treatment at a hospital,” Sheriff Graff said on Monday.

Police are currently investigating three separate crime scenes connected to the incident. Sheriff Graff described it as a developing case and said the information remains preliminary.
