ASHBURN, Va . - To further cement its dedication to the sanctioning of girls flag football across Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland, the Washington Commanders have announced a meaningful commitment to 127 girls flag programs in the DMV over the next two years. The support will include funding, equipment, and additional programming, with the team contributing more than $1 million to grow the game. The announcement marks one of the largest contributions to girls' youth sports in the region.
